Penultimate yoga class

Villa Casamanza, Nr Perugia, Umbria, Italy

Back into yoga again after a day off and everyone is really beginning to feel the change. Today was more or less a repeat of Tuesday's class but a little faster so we had time to add a couple more new postures. In particular, we had a go at headstands against the terrace wall. This is the first time I have ever taught headstands but both Natalie and Vicky managed to do them ok - the others didn't fancy having a go.

I finished the last 60 pages of Westfall's book this afternoon - still not sure what I really make of it, but it did get more structure as it went on, especially as John Locke started to feature more. But it might be useful to spend some more time on the idea of "Natural Philosophy" and "Natural Religion" as used by Westfall.

Emma had a quiet day as she recovered from heat stroke. So unfortunately, she wasn't able to come with us to Perugia for our meal out tonight. This went very well and we had a good time. Perugia is really lovely after dark with all the little ally ways lit up.
